Mark Your Time is a local-first browsing journal for Chrome. It organizes your web activity into clear time periods so you can review how you spent your time online. With your permission, Mark Your Time records the website domain, page title, page URL, and time spent. It groups related pages by site and automatically classifies sites such as video, social media, news, academic, search, shopping, and work tools. Key features: - Automatic browsing periods with a 30-minute inactivity boundary. - Browser restart and window-close handling for cleaner time periods. - Automatic merging of periods separated by five minutes or less. - Removal of isolated browsing periods shorter than five minutes when they cannot be merged. - Expandable date, period, site, and page views. - Real page URLs for later review. - User-entered names for completed periods. - Pause recording, exclude domains, and protect sensitive sites. - Seven-, 30-, or 90-day local retention settings. - JSON and Markdown export. - Chinese and English interface support. - A once-daily reminder when the previous day's journal is ready. Privacy is the core of Mark Your Time: - Recording does not begin until you read the first-use notice and give consent. - Data is stored locally in Chrome and is not uploaded to a server. - The extension does not read webpage content, forms, cookies, passwords, or login credentials. - There are no accounts, analytics SDKs, remote code, advertising, or data selling. - You can pause recording, delete journals, export your data, or uninstall at any time.
