Google Maps renamed the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario. MapUndo puts the original names back. Gulf of America → Gulf of Mexico Lake America → Lake Ontario HOW IT WORKS MapUndo doesn't paint over the map. It asks Google's own servers for the map of a region that still uses the original names, in your language. Every label, search result, and place card stays consistent forever and ever, because all of it still comes from Google. WHAT YOU GET • One toolbar button. Click to undo the renames, click again to put them back. Applies immediately. • Optional: force distances to miles or kilometers. Off by default, in Options. Nothing else.
