Parse any Google Maps directions link and extract all waypoints — right from your browser toolbar. This extension is the official companion to mapparser.travel-tracker.org, a free tool that bridges the gap between shared Google Maps routes and your personal Google My Maps. Paste any Google Maps link, extract waypoints with coordinates, and export them in seconds. ──────────────────────────────────────── FEATURES ──────────────────────────────────────── 🔗 INSTANT ROUTE PARSING Click the toolbar icon, paste a Google Maps directions link, and hit Parse. The extension resolves the link, extracts all waypoints with real place names and coordinates, and displays them instantly — no need to open a full browser tab. 📍 WAYPOINT DISPLAY All stops are shown in order with A, B, C… labels and latitude/longitude coordinates, so you can see exactly what's in the route at a glance. 📤 EXPORT OPTIONS Once a route is parsed, export your waypoints with one click: • CSV — optimized for the Google My Maps "Import" feature • KML — standard geospatial format for Google Earth and other GIS tools 🗺️ OPEN IN FULL APP Click the Map button to open the current route in the full MapParser web app for an interactive OpenStreetMap or Google Maps preview. ⭐ SAVED TRIPS Save any parsed route to your local trip list. If you want to import a shared route into Google My Maps, Google Earth, or any other GIS tool, you first need to extract the stops. MapParser does that automatically.
