I use this all the time when planning bike rides. (Sometimes there are features only visible on Google Maps or OSM; sometimes I want to check out the Strava Heatmap, etc.) It works great, and it's an open-source project. A gem!

C -. I wanted to use this app with Facebook so I could avoid having to use their awful maps. Coordinates are generally correct but if I didn't know the exact location none of the maps offered would show me that. Locations are not pinned.

After downloaded the Map centre waypoint or Route in gpx the file cannot open by TomTom Rider navigation. This extension is unuseable. Deleted.

doesnt transfer points / address on the map - however it is able to transfer directions, so it should not be too difficult to also transfer single points or addresses

Here is a good example of the type of complication which exists: Say you've searched for an address (Pforzheim) in Google maps, but have then dragged the map to somewhere completely different: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Pforzheim,+Germany/@40.4795338,17.1798349,11.88z That's fine for Google maps, but when you come to open the location in another service, you won't necessarily get the same effect. For example, in OpenStreetMap, the place name query overrides the coordinates: https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=Pforzheim,+Germany#map=11/40.4795/17.1798 As you'll see, OpenStreetMap performs the query, and moves the map coordinates (check the updated URL). I've so far tended to think the current coordinates are more important than the originally searched-for location. To also support named points will need a more complicated output approach. I will look into it...
