The panel sits in the sidebar and matches the height of the player, so the transcript scrolls inside it instead of pushing the page around. 2. YouTube Shorts. The panel floats beside the vertical player and waits for you to ask. 3. TikTok video pages. 4. Instagram reels and video posts, including the /username/reel/ links the app copies. 5. Open a YouTube channel, a TikTok profile or an Instagram profile and a small card offers to list that creator's videos. Tick the ones you want, up to 100, and press Extract. PRIVACY - The extension has no cookies permission and reads no cookie from any site. - It never uses your YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook session. - Nothing is sent when you install it or open a page. On TikTok, Instagram and Facebook nothing is sent until you press "Get transcript". - What it sends is the address of the video you asked about. ManyScripts' servers fetch the transcript from that address. - It does not read your feed, your stories, your messages, your comments or your profile. The one place it reads page content is an Instagram profile grid, because Instagram gives no server-side list to ask for. There it reads only the reel links, thumbnails, view counts and the caption text Instagram shows in each tile. That list stays in your browser; only the reels you tick are sent. - No advertising, no analytics SDK, no remote code, and transcripts are not kept in extension storage. If there is no caption track, ManyScripts transcribes the audio instead. It takes a few seconds longer. 2. Is this a subtitle downloader? No. It gives you the words spoken in the video as text you can search, copy and work with, whether subtitles exist or not. 3. Which languages are supported? The transcript comes back in the language spoken in the video, for every language our transcription providers support. 4. Do I need an account? Not for your first transcript each day. No. If ManyScripts' servers cannot reach the video from its address, the panel says so rather than failing quietly. 6. Where do batch results go?
