Mantra Browser Extension helps you protect yourself against phishing attacks. During setup, you will configure the extension to protect a given work email address and its corresponding password. After setup, if you use your password on any other website, the extension will alert you so that you can take further action. You can rest assured in knowing that the extension does not store your password or online activity. We only store a fingerprint of your password which we use to compare against a fingerprint of your input. The extension only uses this information on your local machine and never sends it away from it. --- FAQ Who can use the extension? This extension is intended for Mantra clients who have subscribed to the extension service. If you are not a client, the extension will not work for you. During the setup process, we will pass your password through a process that generates a fingerprint. This fingerprint will be used to check if you are typing your password on websites that do not correspond to the Google domain and to prompt you about it. We never store your password. We only store the fingerprint locally, in your browser's storage. What information does the extension collect? The extension needs to generate a fingerprint of your password and store it locally. This fingerprint will never be sent away from the browser. We also store your email address. This information is used during the setup process and helps us identify you as our client. How does the extension track my online activity? The extension will only track your input activity to ensure you never type your password outside of the domain of your identity provider. The extension never processes or stores your input. We will only ever check the fingerprint of your password against the fingerprint of your input and alert you if they match. The information is never stored locally and it never leaves your browser. How can I delete the data stored by the extension? You can always decide to reset the extension, using the reset button. In doing so, you will remove all the data stored locally by the extension.
