Overview

Find tracks you played in Spotify's web player. Search local history, copy links, and add songs back to your queue.

Good song. Gone already. What was it? History for Spotify Web keeps a searchable list of the tracks you leave behind. Open it in Spotify's top bar or from your browser toolbar. Both views share the same history. • Find a song by title or artist. • Open its menu to queue it again, copy its link, or remove the entry. • Keep 50, 200, or 500 tracks. Export and import JSON backups. • Use Back and Forward to browse your library. Drag the in-page panel wherever it fits. Desktop app hogging RAM? Cache getting chunky? Keep discovery, search, your library, and playlist management in your browser, without running a separate music client. This extension fills two gaps: visible page-navigation buttons and a searchable track-by-track history. Your history stays in Spotify's site storage in this browser. No extension account, server, analytics, or uploads. Clear it from either view, or clear Spotify's site data. Keep a Spotify tab open to use the toolbar popup. Recording starts after installation and captures track changes while the web player is open, including skips. It can't recover earlier listening sessions. Queue uses Spotify's own controls, currently needs its English interface, and adds songs to Next in queue. Spotify controls availability; no Premium-only API calls are added. Free and open source.
