Malk
Overview
Add YouTube videos and playlists to your Malk account, from YouTube's own pages.
Malk.tv turns YouTube into live, scheduled stations. This extension puts Malk's add buttons on YouTube itself, so you can save what you're watching to Malk without copying a link. On a video page, a Malk control sits in the row under the video: • Playlist — add this video to one of your Malk playlists. • Post — post this video to your Malk profile with a caption and tags. On a playlist page: • Import — bring the whole YouTube playlist into Malk. A small progress message shows how it is going. You need a Malk account (malk.tv). The first time, press Connect to Malk and confirm on Malk's own page. There is no sign-in form inside the extension and it never sees your password. You can unlink a browser at any time, from the extension or from Settings on Malk. What it reads, sends and stores • It runs on www.youtube.com only. • It reads the page's URL and title. The title is shown back to you and never sent. • Nothing about what you watch is sent to Malk until you press one of Malk's buttons. Then it sends the video or playlist address, and whatever you typed. • It stores one token that links the browser to your Malk account. You can revoke it. • No analytics, no ads, no tracking.
