Mailzap helps you take back control of your Gmail inbox in seconds. WHAT IT DOES: • Scans your entire inbox and groups all emails by sender • Ranks senders by frequency, see who emails you the most • Select multiple senders at once with checkboxes • Bulk Unsubscribe: automatically sends unsubscribe requests using the List-Unsubscribe email header • Bulk Delete: moves all emails from selected senders to Trash (recoverable for 30 days) • Block: creates a Gmail filter to auto-trash future emails from a sender HOW TO USE: 1. Open Gmail, Mailzap appears automatically in the side panel 2. Click "Sign in with Google" to authorize Gmail access 3. Wait for your inbox to be scanned (progress bar is shown) 4. Select senders you want to clean up 5. Click Unsubscribe, Delete, or Block — done! PRIVACY & SECURITY: • Everything runs locally in your browser: no data is ever sent to external servers • Uses minimal Gmail API permissions: only what is needed to function • Standard OAuth 2.0 sign-in: your Google password is never seen or stored • Emails are moved to Trash, not permanently deleted PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED: • identity - Required for Google OAuth 2.0 sign-in via chrome.identity • storage - Caches sender data locally so you don't have to re-scan on every visit • tabs - Needed to read your signed-in Gmail account and trigger searches • sidePanel - Required to display the Mailzap panel alongside Gmail WORKS ON: Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, Opera
