)Overview
Filters college admissions noise from Gmail while protecting important school, test, scholarship, and lab emails.
MailSift helps students keep Gmail focused during college application season. The extension scans Gmail for college admissions promotional emails and moves matched messages into a Gmail label called College Ads. It is designed for students who receive lots of admissions, campus visit, undergraduate program, and application-related promotional emails but still want to protect important school, testing, scholarship, counseling, research, and lab messages. What MailSift does: - Connects to Gmail with user permission - Scans inbox messages for college admissions noise - Moves matched emails into College Ads - Keeps protected senders and topics in the main inbox - Lets users customize what should never be filtered - Provides a clear report showing what was moved, protected, checked, or skipped MailSift runs client-side as a Chrome extension. It does not use a separate cloud backend. Gmail access is used only to scan and organize the user’s mailbox according to their settings. This version is intended for testing and early feedback.
