Mailcheck: Email Tracker for Gmail & Zoho Mail
Overview
Email open tracking for Gmail and Zoho Mail. Know if your email was opened, when, and how many times. Free to start.
Mailcheck adds email open tracking directly inside Gmail and Zoho Mail (web). Turn on tracking for an email in one click, and know whether it was opened, when, and how many times. Features: - Open tracking for Gmail and Zoho Mail - Per-email toggle (Tracking ON / OFF in the compose window) - Browser notification the moment an email is opened - Full history and stats in your mailcheck dashboard - Sender, recipient, subject and open count - Your own re-reads are filtered out, so the numbers reflect the recipient How it works: You choose whether to enable tracking while composing, and you get alerted the moment your email is opened. Account required: The extension works with a mailcheck account. Free tier: up to 10 tracked emails per month. Unlimited tracking (Gmail + Zoho) included in every paid plan. Privacy: By default the extension records only what is needed to tell you an email was opened: subject, recipient, sender and open timestamps. It does not read the content of your messages. One exception, and only if you ask for it: when you turn the Checky switch on for a given email, the text of that message is sent to our API so the assistant can draft a follow-up. That switch is off by default and is decided email by email. The text is stored encrypted, kept for 90 days at most, deleted immediately if you turn the setting off, and processed by our AI provider in the United States. If you never turn Checky on, no message content ever leaves your browser. We never request Gmail API access, so the extension cannot send, modify or delete anything in your mailbox. No remote code is loaded: everything it runs is in the package reviewed by the Chrome Web Store. Privacy policy: https://getmailcheck.com/extension/privacy Changelog: 2026-09-04 (0.1.0) - Mailcheck is now available in 19 languages. - mailcheck now lives at getmailcheck.com. Emails already sent keep reporting their opens: nothing is lost in the move. - The extension now gets its addresses from the API, so a change of domain no longer requires an update. 2026-08-22 - Tracking now tells you when you've hit the monthly free limit, instead of silently stopping. - Connecting mailcheck on one browser no longer signs you out on your other devices. - The extension now follows your browser language.
