Local phishing protection with page analysis, explained alerts and user-controlled exceptions. MailBoxster Web Security checks addresses, packaged reputation lists and page content on your device. It combines these signals automatically: strong evidence can open a block screen explaining the reasons; uncertain indicators can show a warning banner. - Detects selected fake sign-in forms, shared-document lures, device-code requests and support scams. - Helps prevent selected password transmissions to Telegram or Discord and concealed executable downloads. - Explains blocks and offers a confirmed temporary exception limited to the current tab and domain. - Applies safeguards for official sites and legitimate shared documents. - Runs locally with no account or telemetry. Settings and regular block history stay on your device. - Supports private browsing after browser authorization, without saving private history or block counters. Protection is automatic, with no sensitivity level to choose. Website access must be allowed for content analysis. Chromium can also inspect local HTML attachments when you separately grant file access. No protection recognizes every attack. Inaccessible content, some frames, visual-only pages and evasion techniques can escape analysis. Packaged lists change with extension releases. Avoid entering secrets on a page you distrust, even without an alert. This web protection extension does not provide an email client. Laboratory results do not establish perfect detection or superiority over other security products.
