Local phishing warnings for Gmail. Check message context and links without sending your email to a server.

MailContext Guard checks the visible text and links in emails you open in Gmail, helping you notice mismatches before you follow a link. Main features - Checks for differences between displayed link text and the linked domain, as well as certain suspicious patterns in account and password requests. - Shows why a link was flagged and the URL found in the message. You can jump to the link and highlight its location. - Displays a confirmation dialog when you click a flagged link in Gmail. - Lets you check pasted email content or local .eml and .txt files in Settings, up to 5 MB per input. - Offers 11 display languages, an option to pause automatic Gmail checks, and control over additional on-page information. Local processing and privacy Checks run on your device. Email content is neither saved nor sent to a checking server, and checks do not open linked websites. Only settings are saved. Opening a link yourself causes normal browser network activity. It does not verify email authentication or inspect images, QR codes, attachments, or destination pages. Displayed URLs come from the message; they are not verified final destinations after redirects. Right-click menus, dragging links, and opening copied URLs elsewhere are not fully controlled. Checks may flag legitimate messages or miss threats, and a missing warning does not guarantee that a message is safe or its sender is genuine.
