Smart Link Router: Open Tab Links in Another Window

Route links from a selected tab to a chosen Chrome window and keep multi-window browsing organized. Route as many tabs as you need.

Keep multi-window browsing organized by assigning any Chrome tab to a target window. Once a route is set, links you normally left-click in that tab to automatically open in the chosen window instead. Other tabs keep their normal behavior. 🔀 KEY FEATURES • Route links from a selected tab to another Chrome window • Works automatically with normal left-clicks • Routing applies only to the tabs you choose • Toolbar icon shows when routing is active • No ads. No tracking. Free ⚙️ HOW TO USE 1. Open at least two Chrome windows. 2. Go to the tab you want to route. 3. Click the Smart Link Router icon. 4. Select the target window. 5. Click "Route this tab to selected window". To stop routing, open the popup and click "Clear route". ℹ️ GOOD TO KNOW • Routing is set per tab • Routes are cleared when the source tab or target window is closed • Modifier clicks using Ctrl, Cmd, or Shift are never routed • Refresh open pages after installing or updating the extension ⚠️ LIMITATION: WINDOW NAMES Chrome's extension API does not expose user-defined window names. Because of this, Smart Link Router cannot identify Chrome windows by their names.
