Select it. Structure it. Copy it. Magic Select turns anything you see on a web page into clean, structured data. Draw a box around a product, a job listing, a table row or an article, and get named, typed fields you can paste anywhere: as JSON, Markdown or plain text. It reads the real page, not a screenshot. No OCR, no guessing, and no uploads: everything runs inside your browser. HOW IT WORKS 1. Press Alt+Shift+M (or click the toolbar button). 2. Drag a box around what you want, or click a single element. 3. Review the detected fields, fix anything with a click, and copy. WHAT IT UNDERSTANDS • Prices and currencies: $1,299 becomes 1299 and "USD", including sale prices, original prices and savings. • Salary ranges: "$145,000–$175,000/year" becomes min, max, currency and period. • Ratings and reviews: star widgets and "4.8 (2,341 reviews)" become a rating of 4.8 out of 5 with 2,341 reviews. • Dates (to ISO format), percentages and discounts, view counts, quantities with units. • Links, images, emails, phone numbers, US locations, availability ("In stock", "Only 3 left"). • "Key: value" lines, API endpoints (POST /v1/orders) and specs lists. • Titles and headings, with each field named from the page itself (brand, rating, price…). BUILT FOR REAL PAGES • Several items at once: select a row of products and each one keeps its own name, price, rating and link. • Click to fix: click any highlighted item to remove it, or click anything else on the page to add it. • Manual mode: draw an area, then pick exactly the fields you want. • Works with modern sites built on React, Vue, Angular and web components. • Ignores hidden, off-screen and screen-reader-only text, so you only get what you see. COPY THE WAY YOU NEED • JSON with real types: numbers, ISO dates, nested salary ranges. • Markdown: a table for short records, headings and paragraphs for articles. • Text, with or without field names. "Values only" gives you exactly the text you picked, one item per line. • Ctrl/Cmd+Enter copies instantly. HISTORY AND "SHOW ON PAGE" • Every extraction can be saved to a private history on your device, with search, re-copy and export. • Show on page reopens a saved selection: it finds the same content again (even after the page changed), redraws your box, and highlights what changed since you saved it, such as a new price. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Runs entirely in your browser. Page content is never sent anywhere. • No account, no servers, no analytics, no tracking. • Only reads a page when you start a selection on it. • Your history stays on your device, and you can turn it off, limit it or clear it any time. Turn any feature on or off in Settings → Features.
