Overview

Quickly reopen recent bookmarks—sorted by when you last opened them, grouped by Today and Yesterday, stored locally in Chrome.

Long bookmark lists are easy to build and hard to search. Magic Bookmark gives you a simpler second view: the bookmarks you actually opened recently, newest first. WHY IT HELPS Chrome's bookmark manager is built for saving and filing. It helps less when what you want is "the page I had open on Tuesday" and you no longer remember the folder. Magic Bookmark answers that directly: one short list, ordered by when you last opened each bookmark. WHAT IT REMEMBERS For each bookmark you open it saves the page title, the bookmark URL and the time you opened it. Nothing else. It keeps up to 500 entries and caches site icons so the list draws instantly. WHAT YOU CAN DO • See your recent bookmarks, newest first, from the toolbar • Read them in Today, Yesterday and Earlier groups, or turn grouping off • Click to open in a new tab; the item moves back to the top of your list • Real page titles on two readable lines, full title on hover • Open your list even when you are offline • Switch the interface between 9 languages • Sync recent items to your other Chrome browsers • Clear the saved list and icon cache any time, from Settings PRIVACY No account. No ads. No tracking. No developer-run server. Your list is stored locally in Chrome. For site icons it asks Google's public favicon service about a bookmarked domain. With cross-device sync on, your 30 most recent bookmark URLs and timestamps travel through your own Chrome sync account; you can turn it off in Settings. PERMISSIONS Bookmarks, to tell whether the page you opened is one of yours. History and web navigation, to know when a page finished loading, so the saved title is the real one. Tabs, to read that title and open the bookmark you click. Storage, for your list and settings. Favicon, to reuse icons Chrome already has.
