Magent — Connect your LinkedIn account The Magent extension links your LinkedIn account to Magent without sharing your password and without copying or pasting any tokens. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Magent and start the LinkedIn connection (from onboarding or the extension popup). 2. Make sure you're signed into LinkedIn in the same browser. 3. Click "Connect with one click" — Magent reads your profile and securely uses your existing LinkedIn session to link the account, no password required. PRIVACY-FIRST DESIGN - We access your LinkedIn session ONLY when you start the connection, never automatically. - We read only your own profile, never other people's. - We never see or store your LinkedIn password. - Your session token is used only to establish the connection and is never stored by the extension. - No browsing activity tracking. - All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS. PERMISSIONS AND WHY WE NEED THEM - storage: Store the LinkedIn connection state locally so it can be shown in the popup. - cookies: Read your LinkedIn session token to request your own profile and connect your account without a password. The token is read only at that moment, transmitted over HTTPS, and never stored by the extension. - scripting: Inject our small connector script into a Magent tab you already have open, so the connection is detected without reloading the page. It is scoped to Magent domains and is never injected into third-party sites. WHAT IS MAGENT Magent is an AI CRM for Go-To-Market teams. This extension has a single purpose: to securely connect your LinkedIn account to Magent without a password. To operate the connection we use a third-party provider (Unipile), which processes the LinkedIn session token solely to keep your account linked. We do not sell your data or use it for any purpose unrelated to the extension's core functionality.
