Overview
Companion for MacSide AI: runs the userscripts you write in its memos. Code loads only from your Mac; no external servers.
MacSide – Browser Connector is the companion extension for the MacSide AI Mac app (https://macside-ai.com). It runs the userscripts you write in MacSide AI memos on the sites you choose. NOTE: This extension requires the MacSide AI Mac app. Without the app it stays idle and registers nothing. HOW IT WORKS 1. Write a userscript in a memo inside MacSide AI on your Mac. 2. The app asks for your explicit consent per script, and asks again whenever the script's code changes. 3. The extension receives the script from the app via Chrome Native Messaging and registers it with Chrome's userScripts API. 4. Each script runs only on the sites it declares, and only after you grant permission for those sites. 5. Quit MacSide AI and every script is immediately unregistered from the browser. TRANSPARENCY - The only code that runs is code you wrote yourself in your local memos. - No code is ever fetched from a developer server; the extension makes no network requests of its own. - Page data never leaves your machine: scripts can only talk to the MacSide AI app running locally. REQUIREMENTS - macOS with MacSide AI installed and running - Chrome 138 or later, with "Allow User Scripts" enabled on the extension's details page
