M7 Metrics Sheet Generator

Formats TradingView positions into a M7 Metrics friendly format.

This extension aims to help speed up backtesting with TradingView and M7 Metrics by streamlining the adding of positions to a Google Sheet. Currently supports CL and ES - other instruments may work but the calculated prices will not be tick size accurate and the Instrument will be the raw TradingView symbol. Steps for usage: - in TradingView (application or browser), select the positions you wish to add your Google Sheet and copy (CTRL + C on Windows, CMD + C on Mac) - in Chrome, click on the extension icon - when the popup appears, paste (CTRL + V on Windows, CMD + V on Mac) the positions with the popup focused - if positions are found, they will be displayed on the popup - click 'Copy Positions' - paste into the furthest left cell on the next empty row of your Google Sheet Currently, the following columns will be filled automatically: - Date - Confirmation Time (defaulted to '00:00', required for upload to M7 Metrics) - Entry Time - Instrument - Confirmation Type (defaulted to 'Confirmation', required for upload to M7 Metrics) - Stopped Out (calculated based on the drawing prices parsed from the TradingView positions) - Entry - Stop - Take Profit - Exit For best results, it's recommended that your positions drawn on TradingView are 'exact'. This means that your drawings should: - overlay the candlesticks properly - not be drawn before your true entry - not be drawn after your true exit The prices are calculated based on the points of the drawings, so if your drawings are not exact, the prices will not be exact.
