Lumen Companion

Connects your browser to the Lumen time tracker on this computer, so your time entries include the sites you visit.

Lumen Companion connects Chrome and Chromium-based browsers to the Lumen desktop time tracker so browser activity appears accurately in your personal timeline. When a browser window is focused, the extension sends the active tab's URL and page title over a local-only WebSocket connection to the Lumen desktop app running on the same computer. It does not inject scripts into websites, read page bodies, contact advertising or analytics services, or send data directly to remote servers. Lumen stores activity locally first. If you sign in to Lumen, the desktop app may sync time entries to the Lumen service according to the Lumen Privacy Policy. Raw activity remains visible only to you; workspace members see aggregate hours, not visited sites or window titles. The Lumen desktop app is required. Incognito windows are excluded unless you explicitly enable the extension there.
