Lumen Browser Collector

Wazuh Lumen AIDR: inspects AI prompts on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity and blocks or redacts violations before they leave.

Lumen is Wazuh's AI Detection & Response (AIDR). This extension is the browser sensor: on the AI providers it supports (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity), it inspects each prompt against your organization's policy in real time and can Log, Redact, or Block it before it is sent. A blocked prompt never reaches the provider, and a redacted one has the flagged text masked out before it leaves the browser. Model replies are captured log-only. Detection and policy do not run in the extension. It talks over Chrome Native Messaging to the Lumen endpoint agent installed on the same machine, which does the inspection, records the finding, and reports it to your organization's Lumen console. The extension holds no detection, storage, or transport logic of its own. On other known AI web tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, Poe or DeepSeek) it performs inventory-only discovery: it reads nothing from the page and reports only that a known AI tool is in use (by hostname), so your organization can see shadow-AI usage. Lumen is an enterprise/managed-deployment tool. It is normally force-installed and configured by your organization; it does nothing on a machine without the Lumen agent.
