LumaCite Citation Generator creates a formatted citation from the article or webpage you are viewing. You can also start with an article identifier, such as a DOI, PMID, or arXiv ID, or enter a URL or title when the source is not already open. Open the extension while viewing a source. It reads the available publication details, checks the source when possible, and shows an editable result. You can create a full reference or an in-text citation, choose a citation style, review and correct the details, copy the result, or download it for use elsewhere. The extension runs only when you open it. It does not keep a browsing history or saved citation library. Your selected citation style is stored locally. When a source needs to be checked, the relevant identifier, title, or URL may be sent securely to LumaCite’s citation service. No login is required.
