Overview
Automatically logs into LPU WiFi network
LPU WiFi Auto Login is a lightweight Chrome Extension that automatically authenticates you on Lovely Professional University's captive portal WiFi network — so you never have to manually log in again. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Instant Check — On browser launch, it silently pings Google. If you're already online, it does nothing. 2. Stealth Login — If the LPU portal is blocking your connection, it fetches the login page, extracts all dynamic security tokens, bypasses the CAPTCHA check, and submits your credentials automatically behind the scenes. 3. Background Guardian — A configurable background timer (default: 30 minutes) periodically verifies your connection and re-authenticates you if LPU logs you out — so your internet never drops mid-task. FEATURES: • Fully automatic background operation — no manual action needed • Configurable polling interval (1 min → 1 hour) via the Settings panel • Secure credential storage using Base64 obfuscation in local Chrome storage • Clean dashboard showing real-time connection status • User profile card with your name and registration number • Manual "Connect / Check Status" button for instant login on demand • Toast notifications for all connection events • One-click credential removal from Settings PRIVACY: This extension only communicates with: - internet.lpu.in (LPU's own captive portal — to log you in) - clients3.google.com (to check if you already have internet — standard Android/Chrome connectivity check) No data is ever sent to any third-party server. Your credentials never leave your device.
