Highlight and hide articles in Feedly based on keywords.

**VERSION 4.0** Highlight the articles you care about. Hide the ones you don't. Feedly Article Highlighter watches your feed for the keywords you pick and colors every article that mentions them. The stories you follow stand out while you scroll. Topics you'd rather skip drop out of the feed completely. Follow a lot of sources and only some of it matters on a given day? A company you track? A beat you cover? A team you support? This puts those stories where you'll see them. WHAT IT DOES • Highlight by keyword. Add any name, company or topic you follow. Matching articles get a colored marker in your feed. • Group keywords into categories. Sort them into groups like Work, Sports or Clients. Each group gets its own color, so you can tell what kind of story you're looking at without reading it. • Hide what you don't want. Add a keyword to the Hide list and those articles leave the feed. • Dim everything else. An optional focus mode that fades non-matching articles so the highlighted ones carry the page. • Add keywords while you read. A small panel in the corner of Feedly takes a new keyword the moment you think of it. No settings page, no leaving thep age. • Back up your list. Export your keywords to a file, import them on another computer. PRIVACY Your keywords stay in your browser. The extension reads only feedly.com, sends nothing anywhere, and has no analytics or accounts. --------------------------------------------------- WHAT'S NEW IN 4.0 Keywords, categories and colors • Group keywords into named categories, each with its own color. • Drag a keyword from one category to another, or move it from a menu. • Eight colors, chosen so they stay apart for readers with color blindness. • Your keyword list is alphabetized again. A real settings page • Keywords, options and backup now live in a settings page you open from the extension icon or from the panel on Feedly. • The extension has a toolbar icon. Click it to add a keyword from any page. Fixes • Keywords containing punctuation or symbols never matched anything. They looked saved and highlighted nothing. • Keywords made of two or more words often failed when they fell at the end of a headline. • Hovering a highlighted article wiped its color. • Highlighting could stop working until you reloaded the page. • Keyword changes in one tab didn't reach other open Feedly tabs until reload. • Import and export used a browser alert box that looked like it came from Feedly. • Keywords containing < or > characters broke the keyword list display. • Keyword colors set in an older version stopped showing after upgrading. Every keyword came out the same color. • The extension re-scanned every article on every page change. It doesn't anymore, which cuts its load on long feeds. Upgrading from an older version? Your keywords carry over, and so do their colors. If you used colors to group keywords, those groups come with you: every color you were using becomes a category, holding the same keywords it did before. Categories arrive named after their color, so rename them to whatever you were actually tracking. The panel that used to sit on top of your feed is now a compact bar in the corner.
