Low Vision Magnifier places a circular lens over the part of a web page you point at. Use this screen magnifier to zoom in on small text without changing the surrounding layout. A price, caption, or table entry becomes larger while the rest of the document stays where it was. The magnifying glass follows your mouse, so you can move between details without enlarging the entire site. It is a reading aid for low vision and everyday small print, with controls you can adjust before you begin. 🔍 WHAT YOU GET • Enlarge the spot under your cursor from 1.5x to 5x, in half-step increments. • Choose a circle from 100 to 400 pixels across, depending on how much context you want around a word. • Keep a key held for a quick look, or switch to toggle mode to leave the lens open until you dismiss it. • Check your choices in a live popup preview, with large controls and a reminder of the selected hotkey. 🔧 HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the toolbar popup and choose Alt, Shift, or Control as your activation key. 2. Set the enlargement and circle size, then choose hold or toggle mode. 3. Point at the detail you want and press the selected key. 4. Release it in hold mode, or press it again in toggle mode. Esc also closes the view. The activation key is ignored while you type in an editable field. Your settings follow you to other devices when browser sync is enabled. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW Can I read fine print online on a laptop? Yes. Point at the words you need, then move along the sentence. The same view can magnify images and charts, including labels that are too small at their original size. Does it show live video? The enlarged area uses a snapshot of the visible tab, renewed after scrolling or resizing. Moving content therefore looks still. Protected internal pages and the extension store do not allow it to run. 🔒 PRIVACY The snapshot is processed on your computer, is not uploaded, and is discarded when you close the view. No account is required. Storage remembers your preferences; access to the current tab provides the picture used for enlargement.
