Loupe is a free screen recorder for Chrome: record a tab, a window or your whole screen, then trim it and download an MP4. When you want your video to look polished, one switch adds automatic zoom that follows your clicks. Click Record, do your thing, click Stop. The editor opens with your recording exactly as it was on screen. Trim it, cut out mistakes, and export. Or turn on auto zoom, a background and click effects for a professional-looking product demo. Click the Loupe button in the toolbar. 2. Choose This tab, Window or Screen, then Record (or press Alt+Shift+S). 3. Do your thing. Click the button again to pause or stop. 4. The editor opens. Trim, add zooms if you like, then Export. Chrome does not allow extensions to record a single tab of its own settings pages or the Chrome Web Store; record a window or your screen for those.
