Selection TTS Reader turns selected web page text into a focused listening experience. Select text on any page, click the small floating speaker button, and a clean reader panel opens with the selected text. The extension requests speech audio from a local companion bridge and highlights each word as it is spoken using word-level timestamps. Features: - Floating read-aloud button appears when text is selected - Clean reader panel with large, readable text - Audio playback with play/pause and progress - Word-by-word highlighting synchronized to the audio - Local bridge architecture for user-controlled TTS configuration Selection TTS Reader is designed for accessibility, focused reading, language practice, and listening to long passages without losing your place. Note: this extension requires the Selection TTS local companion bridge running on 127.0.0.1:47392 to generate audio and word timestamps.
