Overview
Cut a page of roleplay chat into one 9:16 vertical clip.
Your character has only ever been text. Lore Clip is a Chrome extension that films a stretch of the roleplay chat you already have open, and gives you back one 9:16 vertical clip. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a supported character chat and click the Lore Clip icon. The side panel opens beside the page and reads the messages already on screen. 2. Tick the messages you want on the chat page itself. A checkbox appears left of every message; Shift-click takes a run between two, and Esc clears the lot. The panel counts the material as you go — how many messages, how many seconds, how much of it is narration. 3. Press "Make the clip". The messages you ticked go to the server, a text model reads them into a screenplay, and that screenplay is what the video model is handed. 4. The clip comes back in about three minutes. Download it as an mp4 with no watermark. WHAT YOU GET A 9:16 mp4, no watermark, with an audio track. If the screenplay found one line long enough to fill the shot, your character says it out loud and that same line is burned across the lower third. Nothing else gets words — every other line, and every piece of narration, is picture only. The person moving on screen is your character: the render is conditioned on that character's own artwork. You do not have to sit and watch it. Submit, close the panel, go do something else: the render runs on the server and the panel picks it up again the next time you open it. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS PolyBuzz, OurDream and Character.AI. Supporting a platform means its page fields were measured one by one, so extraction is exact rather than a best-effort guess. Adding the next one ships as a configuration change, so the list can grow without you reinstalling anything. PRICING Pay as you go, by the second of finished video: 1 credit buys 1 second, so a ten-second clip costs 10 credits. Signing in gives you 10 credits, which is one clip. After that credits come in one-time top-ups of $4.90 for 30, $8.90 for 60 and $21.90 for 180. There is no subscription, credits do not expire, and a render that fails costs nothing. WHAT IT CANNOT DO YET - One line at most: you cannot read the conversation in the clip. The words are painted by the video model along with the rest of the frame, so where they sit and where they break are out of our hands, and a word is occasionally misspelled. - Only the three platforms listed above. - A clip takes about three minutes, almost all of it waiting on the video model. - Clips are short, and each is a single continuous take with no cuts and no change of location. PRIVACY The extension reads only the chat page you have open, and only what is already displayed on it. It does not bulk-scrape, and it does not bypass any platform's access controls. The messages you tick are sent to our server to be filmed; they are not used to train models and are not written to logs.
