Loop the hard part of any YouTube video, slow it down, and transpose it to your key. LoopingTube opens in Chrome's side panel next to the video, so you can practice without leaving youtube.com. Made for musicians learning songs, solos and riffs by ear, on guitar, bass, piano or voice. It works just as well for language learners, dancers, and anyone who needs to hear one part again and again. LOOP ANY SECTION • Drop markers while the video plays, then loop the stretch between any two of them. Or set exact in and out points instead. • Drag a marker or nudge it in small steps until the loop lands right on the beat. • Loop forever or a set number of times, with a countdown before the loop starts and an optional pause between repeats. SLOW DOWN, THEN SPEED UP • Play anywhere from 0.25× to 2× speed. • Tempo ramp: start slow and let each loop play a little faster, up to the speed you set. TRANSPOSE WITH REAL-TIME PITCH SHIFTING • Shift the pitch up or down by as much as 12 semitones, and fine-tune it in cents, without changing the tempo. • Play along in standard tuning with songs tuned a half step down, or move a song into a key that suits your voice. PRACTICE WITHOUT FRICTION • Keyboard shortcuts on the video page: E starts and stops the loop, B drops a marker, N and P jump between sections. • Your markers and clips are saved for each video and come back the next time you open it. • A library of the videos you've practiced, with favorites, so you can pick up where you left off. • One click opens the video on loopingtube.com, to share it or keep practicing there.
