Overview

Capture the whole page, not just what's on screen — even Gmail and Outlook. Save as PNG, PDF, or copy to clipboard.

LongSnap captures an entire page — everything below the fold — in one image, PDF, or clipboard copy. No stitching screenshots together by hand, no missing the last paragraph, no guesswork. BUILT FOR RELIABILITY ON LONG, TRICKY PAGES. Long pages, inbox views like Gmail and Outlook, smooth-scroll animations, and sticky headers can all trip up a naive "scroll and screenshot" approach. LongSnap detects the real scrolling area on the page and handles these cases so the result is a clean, complete capture instead of a cut-off or duplicated one. WHAT YOU GET • One click from the toolbar, or a keyboard shortcut you choose • Save as PNG or PDF, or copy the image straight to your clipboard • Review every capture before it's saved — trim it with the crop tool, or mark it up with circles, highlights, and text, right in the browser • Auto-expands "View entire message," "Show trimmed content," and similar collapsed content so long emails and threads come through in full • Smart filenames — downloads are named after the page title, not just a timestamp • Live progress while a long page is being captured • Works on any website, not just email — articles, docs, PRs, threads, anything with more content than fits on one screen WHAT'S NEW SINCE 1.1.0 Every capture now opens a review screen automatically — crop it, mark it up, then choose PNG, PDF, or Copy at the end (no format decision up front any more). - Annotate before you save — circles, rectangles, arrows, highlights, emoji, and text, each in your choice of color - Emoji annotations — stamp 👍 🔥 ⭐ ✅ and more directly onto your capture, right alongside your other annotations - Edit the file name before saving — the review screen has a text field, pre-filled with the usual auto-generated name, so you can rename it before choosing PNG, PDF, or Copy - Full text control — pick the size and make it bold, and change either one on text you've already placed, not just while typing it - Edit anything after you've drawn it — select an existing shape, emoji, or text box to move it, resize it, retype it, or restyle it; hovering shows you what's editable - Keyboard shortcuts — Cmd/Ctrl+Z to undo, Delete/Backspace to remove whatever's selected - Capture first, decide the format last — click capture and go straight to reviewing; no PNG/PDF/Copy prompt beforehand - More reliable on tricky pages — fixed missing text on Jira-style pages with their own scrolling panes, fixed capture inside embedded dashboards like Tableau and Braze's Canvas editor, and more reliable clipboard copying on long captures PRIVACY Everything happens locally in your browser. Nothing you capture is ever sent anywhere — no analytics, no external servers, no accounts. LongSnap only ever looks at the page you're actively on when you click to capture it — it doesn't run in the background on other tabs. Questions or feedback? Reach us at scrollshot.app@gmail.com
