CiteWell helps researchers save academic paper metadata from supported journal pages directly to their CiteWell reference library. Open an article page, click the CiteWell extension, review the detected metadata, then save the reference to your library. Features: - Extracts title, authors, journal, year, volume, issue, pages, DOI, PMID, source URL, and source site - Supports PubMed and common academic journal websites - Saves references to your CiteWell account - Lets signed-in users report unsupported or incorrectly parsed pages A CiteWell account is required to save references. The extension communicates with citewell.org for login, session checks, folder loading, reference saving, and site reports.
