Does not work, although scanner is designated 'supported' in the SANE list. Throws up message, "scanner not available". No settings available on the extension.

I have a Canon Pixma MG3550 which is SANE compatible and now works perfectly well with Francois Beaufort's original Scan app, but it won't work with this new Scan Fire app which I've just found in the Chrome Web Store.

Does not work with my HP8600 officejet printer/scanner connected through my local network, although it works perfectly under Ubuntu. Message is "scanner not available". HP printers are supposed to be SANE compatible.

Doesn't work for me. Detects and operates my scanner, but gives failed to scan message. My HP3970 Scanjet status is "good" in the SANE supported scanners list. It also works great in Lunux Mint.

Maybe I'm just not understanding how to use this app: My scanner works using Linux Mint, so I'm guessing that it's Sane compatible. I've tried connecting my scanner via a USB cord, as well as connecting it to my WiFi network, yet I'm still unable to scan using this app. Either I'm doing something wrong or my scanner isn't compatible.
