Logue puts your Mac's AI right in your browser. You can chat about any web page and let Logue move around it for you, with answers coming from an AI model that already runs on your Mac. There is no cloud, no account, and no API key. Nothing leaves your machine. GET THE MAC APP FIRST Logue needs the Logue macOS app (Apple Silicon), which runs the AI model and does the work. Install it, open it, load a model, then turn on the bridge under Settings, Privacy, Browser Extension. Logue does not. It talks only to the Logue app on your own Mac, over your machine's loopback address, and the model running there does all the work. The page you read, the questions you ask, and the answers you get all stay on your device. WHAT LOGUE DOES Chat on your own hardware. Answers stream in from the model loaded in the Logue Mac app, with no cloud round trip and no per-token cost. You can stop an answer partway through, and what already arrived stays while generation halts on your Mac too. Your conversations are saved and survive closing the panel or restarting Chrome, and you can rename or delete them. One click on the toolbar icon, or Command Shift L, opens the side panel. It uses the page, not just reads it. Logue reads the current page when your question needs it, so you do not have to decide in advance. It follows links, moves between pages, and scrolls to what you asked about. Every step it takes is listed in the conversation as it happens, so you can see exactly what touched your pages. Before anything that commits on your behalf, such as submitting a form, buying, posting, deleting, or sending, Logue stops and asks first. You can also attach a page yourself with the plus button. The Mac app does not listen until you turn on the bridge under Settings, Privacy, Browser Extension, so it stays off until you enable it. REQUIREMENTS You need a Mac with Apple Silicon running the Logue macOS app with a model loaded, and the bridge turned on under Settings, Privacy, Browser Extension. You also need Google Chrome. Without the Logue Mac app running, this extension has nothing to talk to, so get the app first (link at the top) and then install this to bring it into your browser.
