Overview

LoginRecall is an OAuth Memory Layer that remembers how you logged into websites.

LoginRecall helps you remember how you logged into websites. When a site offers multiple login options such as Google, GitHub, Apple, Microsoft, or email/password, it can be difficult to recall which one you used. LoginRecall solves this problem by remembering your last authentication method and reminding you when you return to the login page. The extension acts as a lightweight memory layer for your browser, helping you avoid login confusion and saving time. Why install LoginRecall • Never guess your login method again • Quickly remember whether you used Google, GitHub, Apple, Microsoft, or email/password • Reduce login frustration when websites offer multiple authentication providers • Get subtle reminders right when you revisit a login page Key features • Local-only storage — all data is stored on your device using chrome.storage.local • Subtle notifications — reminders appear only when you visit a login page • Provider recognition — detects common OAuth providers such as Google, GitHub, Microsoft, and Apple • Custom login notes — add personal notes to remember which account you used • Works automatically — no manual setup required Privacy and security LoginRecall is built with privacy as the top priority. • No browsing history tracking • No password collection • No session tokens stored • No analytics or tracking scripts • No external network requests The extension only stores the provider type and an optional account label locally on your device to help you recall your login method. Lightweight and transparent LoginRecall is designed to be small, fast, and unobtrusive. It runs quietly in the background and only appears when it can help you remember how you signed in. If you regularly encounter multiple “Sign in with…” options across websites, LoginRecall helps you navigate modern authentication without confusion.
