Login Reminder
Overview
Remember which account you used for each site, using local encryption in the browser.
The right account. No more guessing. Have you ever tried to sign in to a website and couldn't remember whether you signed up with Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or a different email address? When you have multiple accounts, something as simple as signing in can turn into repeated attempts, the wrong profile, and wasted time. Login Reminder gives you the missing clue. It remembers the last sign-in option you selected for each website, so you can check it when you return. If the page displays a compatible button or account chooser, it also highlights the method or account you picked. In Google's account chooser, it can show the email address you selected last time. Why install it? • Stop guessing: remember which account or provider you chose for each website. • Stay in your flow: useful when you switch between personal, work, or project accounts. • Find answers quickly: open the extension to check your last choice, search for a website, or filter your reminders by provider. • Stay in control: delete a reminder for one website or clear them all whenever you want. • Get started without hassle: you don't need to create a Login Reminder account or set up another password. How does it work? When you select a compatible sign-in option, Login Reminder remembers the website's domain and the last method you chose. If an email address is available, it can remember that too. It keeps only one choice per website: a new selection replaces the previous one. It recognizes compatible sign-in options from popular providers, as well as email sign-ins. If a page cannot display a highlight beside its sign-in option, you can still check your reminder in the extension. Privacy first Your records are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored locally in your browser. The key is generated automatically and stays in your browser profile. Login Reminder does not read or store passwords, and it does not send your records to its own servers. The extension needs access to web pages to detect compatible sign-in options; that detection happens locally. Each browser and browser profile keeps its own data, with no syncing between them. Login Reminder does not sign in for you or confirm that authentication succeeded. Its purpose is simple: to help you remember the option you chose, so you don't have to start from scratch next time. Free, with no sign-up or subscription.
