Turn raw JSON on log pages into an interactive tree: collapse, search keys & values, copy value/path/subtree, parse JSON strings.

Log Lens turns walls of raw JSON — log pages, API responses, debug dumps — into an interactive tree you can search, filter, copy from, and share links into. Everything runs locally inside your browser. No data ever leaves the page: no network requests, no analytics, no collection of any kind. Logs often contain tokens and personal data — Log Lens is built so they stay where they are. WHAT IT DOES • Interactive tree — collapse and expand, depth buttons (1 / 2 / 3 / all), lazy rendering that keeps multi-megabyte payloads smooth. • Search that sees everything — matches keys AND values, including inside collapsed nodes and inside JSON hidden in strings. "Matches only" hides everything else. • Pinned fields — pin the keys you always look up; they appear in a strip at the top of every log with their value and occurrence count. Click to jump between occurrences, ‹ › to step back and forward. • str→json — strings that contain JSON (stringified request bodies, session data) are parsed and shown as real subtrees. • Copy anything — one value, a whole subtree as pretty JSON, the row's path ($.orders[0].price.total), or an array of similar objects as a ready-to-paste TABLE for spreadsheets and issue trackers. • Smart copy — select across rows and press Ctrl/Cmd+C to get real JSON of what you selected, collapsed parts included. • Row links — copy a link that opens the page at that exact row, highlighted and scrolled into view. • Tooltips — hover a timestamp for your local time and "6 days ago"; big numbers get thousands separators. • Paste viewer — paste log text copied from a terminal, ticket, or chat and browse it the same way. • Your look — configurable colors and font size, applied live everywhere. QUICK START 1. Pin Log Lens to the toolbar (puzzle-piece icon → pin). 2. On any page with JSON: click the icon → "Enhance this page". 3. For pages you read daily: icon → "Auto-run sites…" and add a URL pattern, e.g. https://logs.example.com/* — those pages will open already enhanced. Wildcards work anywhere in the pattern, including inside the host name (https://*-staging.example.com/*), or tick "Auto-run on every site" once and forget patterns entirely. 4. To see the original page at any time: the "raw" or "off" buttons in the viewer toolbar. Full user guide with details on every feature: see the Support link on this listing. PERMISSIONS Host access is optional and granted by you, per site, only for auto-run. The extension otherwise uses activeTab/scripting (the toolbar button), storage (your site list, pins and colors — synced with your Chrome profile) and clipboardWrite (the copy buttons).
