StreamLaughs
Overview
StreamLaughs — see who's laughing with you. Local audio processing and anonymous crowd counts.
Watching a Twitch stream alone? You're not. StreamLaughs adds a small dot to twitch.tv that shows how many StreamLaughs viewers are laughing right now, plus the top word the crowd is saying, live and anonymous. How it works • Open any Twitch stream and press start in the StreamLaughs popup. • Your mic and the stream audio are processed on your own computer. Your voice and your words never leave your device. • If you choose to share with the crowd, only anonymous counts are sent (laughing yes or no, and short common words). The crowd is shown only when at least 3 people share, and names and slurs are blocked. • When you stop, you get a fun personal recap: your laughs, your top words and the biggest moment, with a link to the VOD. For streamers Streamers can sign in with Twitch on the website to see an aggregate laugh timeline of their own streams. No setup is needed on the stream. Permissions • Microphone: to detect your laughs and reactions, locally. • Tab capture: to hear the stream audio so the stream itself isn't counted as you laughing. • twitch.tv access: to show the dot and detect which channel you're watching. 100% free. No account, no subscription, no hidden costs. Just install and start laughing with the crowd.
