New Tab button background missing

The new tab button is now missing a background on my version of Chrome for some reason. It only shows the top left wedge of the circle and the rest is transparent. Not sure how to fix or I'd do it myself

New Tab page theme not showing

I had to change my gmail password today. When I updated it, I had to log out of my account. When I logged back in I lost all my shortcuts in the new tab page (not your problem, I know) but my new tab page isnt that nice silver background like it used to be. It's just a plain white background. How do I get the original one you had back?

Уважаемый создатель темы.
Всё в ней просто замечательно, кроме одной вещи: нет выделения активной вкладки. Всё время приходиться смотреть на панель. Если Вы сделаете активную вкладку более светлой, а остальные затемните, я Вас уверяю, Ваш рейтинг взлетит минимум в два раза. В комментариях уже писали Вам об этом, я тоже не поленюсь.
Если ответите - пойму, что за буквами и монитором есть человек.
