LockIn is the Chrome companion for LockIn MCP — a focus system that blocks distractions when you need to lock in. WHAT IT DOES • Task-aware blocking — Set an active task. LockIn blocks sites that don’t relate to what you’re working on, with a clean in-page overlay (not a broken connection screen). • Task widget on every page — See today’s tasks in the bottom-left corner. Press Alt+F (⌥F on Mac) to show, hide, or jump to the new-task field. • Calm new tab — Replace Chrome’s new tab with a simple clock and your task list. Switch back to Chrome’s default anytime. • Distraction journey — While focus blocking is active, visits to blocked sites are logged to your LockIn dashboard (Dashboard → Sessions). We do not upload your full browsing history. • Works with system-wide blocking — Pair with the LockIn MCP desktop install for hosts-file blocking across apps and browsers. REQUIREMENTS • A LockIn Pro account (one-time license at lockinmcp.com) • Sign in via the extension popup — OAuth at lockinmcp.com/extension/connect PRIVACY LockIn does not sell your data or share browsing activity with Poke, Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools you connect. The extension only stores distraction-related events during active focus, plus short productive dwell on a small set of work sites.
