Block distracting websites during focus sessions
Stop scrolling. Start focusing. LockIn is a simple, distraction-free focus timer that blocks the websites you choose for as long as you need. No accounts, no complicated setup, just pick your distractions, set a timer, and get to work. How it works: Add the sites that distract you most (social media, news, Reddit, you know the ones) Choose a focus duration: 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes Hit "Start Focusing" and those sites are blocked until your session ends Features: Instantly blocks any website by domain. Type it in and it's gone. Automatic alias detection means blocking x.com also blocks twitter.com, and vice versa. Pause and resume your session whenever you need a break. Restart the timer without losing your blocked sites. Clean countdown display so you always know how much time is left, with your session end time shown at a glance. Desktop notification when your focus session is complete. All state persists even if you close the popup, your session keeps running in the background. Lightweight, fast, and completely private: no data leaves your browser. LockIn uses Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API to redirect blocked sites, the same modern, efficient approach used by content blockers. No background network requests, no tracking, no analytics. Built for anyone who needs a little help staying on task. Whether you're studying, coding, writing, or just trying to get through your inbox, LockIn keeps you honest.
