Overview
LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the exam environment within specific learning and assesment systems.
Teachers have the option to require the LockDown Browser: AP Classroom Edition for any online quiz. While taking an online assignment using the LockDown Browser, this extension will provide a secure environment for students, preventing them from going to other URLs, switching applications, copying questions or printing. It essentially locks them into the AP Classroom test player until the assignment is submitted for grading. The LockDown Browser: AP Classroom Edition extension is only for Chromebooks. Note to Managed Chromebook Administrators: This supersedes AP Classroom’s Lockdown Brower kiosk application (called “College Board”). This extension is ONLY used by College Board’s AP Classroom platform to support student practice within this platform. Any data collected through this Chrome Extension is only used by College Board and its partners to deliver the AP Classroom services. For more information, go to the AP Services Terms and Conditions (https://secure-media.collegeboard.org/apc/ap-services-terms-conditions.pdf) This is NOT a limited-feature version and there are NO advertisements of any type.
