Loch is a shielded balance inside the Solana wallet you already use. No new seed phrase and no new account: your wallet signs one message, and the keys of your shielded balance are worked out from that signature on your device. Your wallet is public. The Loch is not. v0.1, on mainnet. Read the cautions before you dive in: https://lochlayer.com/#cautions HOW IT WORKS Dive in. Move SOL from your public wallet into the Loch. A screening service co-signs each deposit. An observer sees your address, the amount, and that it went into the Loch. Send privately. Pay any shielded address. The proof is made on your device and a relayer submits it, so your wallet never appears. An observer sees a proof and the relayer's fee: no sender, no recipient, no amount. Surface. Withdraw to any public address. Nothing on chain says which deposit paid for it. An observer sees the destination, the amount, and that it came out of the Loch. SEE WHAT YOUR WALLET GIVES AWAY The leak report reads your wallet's public history and scores it: where its funds came from, the services and people it deals with, the hours it is active, amounts passed straight through. When a site asks your wallet, through Loch, to send a public transfer, Loch can show you first what that transfer would add. WHAT LOCH DOES NOT DO - No telemetry, no analytics, no advertising. - It talks only to the RPC endpoint, relayer and screening service named in its settings, and you can change each of them. - Your keys never leave your device. Your notes and activity are kept there, encrypted. - No remote code: everything that runs is in the package. Diving in and surfacing are ordinary public transactions. Only what happens between them is shielded, and a pool hides you only among the people using it.
