LocalStorage Backup

Back up any website's localStorage to your own Google Drive on a schedule. Perfect for preserving idle-game saves.

LocalStorage is commonly used by idle/incremental web games to store save data, but is not guaranteed to be durable. Chrome can wipe your save at any time if it decides to reclaim space. This extension allows you to set a schedule to automatically back up LocalStorage for specified sites. It connects to your Google Drive and stores the backups in a directory there. Note that the backup schedule is best effort and may not correspond exactly to the interval you specified.
