Toolbars appear while you hold Alt and vanish the moment you let go, so you can read an article or drag through a paragraph without anything chasing your cursor. Alt + point at a picture → Extract text, Explain image, Save image Alt + select text → Fix, Rewrite, Translate, Shorten, Humanise, and more Alt was chosen deliberately — it scrolls nothing, types nothing, and leaves Ctrl and Shift free for the browser and the page. Custom dictionary for words you never want flagged. ⚡ Instant Offline Checks 332 common misspellings and a set of fixed-idiom rules are caught by built-in rules — no model round-trip, no waiting. "For all intensive purposes", "could care less", "peaked my interest", "baited breath", "free reign", "deep seeded", advice vs advise, affect vs effect. British and American spellings both pass through untouched. 🖼️ Images, OCR & Accessibility Hold Alt and point at any image to extract its text, explain it, or save it. Drag a selection box over any part of your screen to pull text straight out of it. Ask questions about screenshots, charts, and photos. Explain image returns the same eight sections every time — summary, type, details, the text inside it, the colour palette with hex codes, what it means, and what it was unsure about. It also writes a ready-to-paste alt attribute, with a Copy Alt Text button. No "image of" prefix, because screen readers already announce that. Decorative images are told to use an empty alt rather than handed a fake description.
