Overview

Save the current page to LocalMarks on your Mac in one click.

Save the page you're viewing to the LocalMarks app on your Mac in one click. LocalMarks is a read-it-later app that keeps your saved articles on your own Mac. No account, no cloud. The article text is stored on your Mac too, so you can read it even if the original page disappears. ■ Features • Save with the toolbar icon, ⌥⇧S, or the right-click menu • Saves pages exactly as displayed, including pages behind a login or rendered with JavaScript • Save a link directly from the right-click menu ■ Requires the Mac app This extension sends articles to the LocalMarks app (available on the Mac App Store) running on the same Mac. Enter the token shown in the app's Settings on the extension's options page. ■ Privacy The extension reads page content only when you save a page. It is sent only to the LocalMarks app on the same Mac (127.0.0.1) and never to a server on the internet.
