Locale Hotkeys for App Store Connect

Switch App Store Connect localizations with Z / X and copy one field's text into every locale at once. Not affiliated with Apple.

Updating app metadata across dozens of languages means the same thing every time: pick a locale from the dropdown, paste "Bug fixes and performance improvements", open the dropdown again, pick the next one. Forty times. This extension removes both halves of that chore. SWITCH LOCALES FROM THE KEYBOARD Press Z and X to move forward and backward through your localized languages — no dropdown, no mouse. Inside a text field, use Alt+Z and Alt+X so the letters still type normally. Your cursor stays exactly where it was. Paste, press Alt+Z, paste again — you never leave the field. A small toast shows the language you landed on and your position in the list, for example "Russian - 30 / 39". The list wraps around, and languages you have not localized yet are skipped, so you only ever cycle through locales that actually exist for your app. COPY ONE FIELD INTO EVERY LOCALE Next to Promotional Text and What's New in This Version you get an "Apply to All Locales" link. Click it and choose: - Overwrite All - put this text into every localized language - Only Empty - fill just the locales where the field is still blank - Cancel The extension then walks through your locales with a progress bar and a Stop button, and returns to the language you started from. Around fifteen seconds for a typical set of thirty-nine locales. IT NEVER SAVES FOR YOU The extension only fills fields in. It never clicks Save. Your changes sit there as normal unsaved edits, so you can look through them, fix anything you want, and save when you are ready — the same as if you had typed everything by hand. PRIVACY No accounts, no analytics, no servers. The extension makes no network requests of any kind and collects nothing. It runs only on appstoreconnect.apple.com and does nothing anywhere else. It declares no permissions beyond that one site. NOTES Works on the App Store version metadata page, where the language selector sits. Hotkeys are configurable at the top of the extension's script.
