Local Webpage Notes
Overview
Save private notes for specific webpages locally in your browser.
Local Webpage Notes gives you a simple way to save private notes for specific webpages directly inside your browser. When you open the extension on a webpage, you can write and save a note for that page. When you return to the same page later, your saved note is available again. It is useful for research, documentation, shopping comparisons, online forms, study pages, project references, and personal reminders. The extension includes a clean popup editor, local note storage, character count, copy note, delete note, and a notes manager where you can search all saved notes. You can also export your notes to a local JSON file and import them again later. Local Webpage Notes is designed to be privacy-friendly. Notes are stored locally in your browser. No account is required, no analytics are used, no backend server is used, and notes are not uploaded anywhere. Important limitations: Notes are stored only on the current browser and do not sync across devices. Notes may not work on restricted browser pages such as chrome:// pages or Chrome Web Store pages. Clearing browser extension data may remove saved notes unless they are exported first.
