Overview

Scans the current page locally for accessible image, GIF, audio, video, background and linked media URLs.

Local Page Media Downloader helps you find media URLs on the current page and download the accessible files your browser can already reach. It can detect common page media sources such as images, GIFs, audio files, video files, video posters, CSS background images, direct media links, and OpenGraph/Twitter media tags. The extension is built to be local, transparent, and privacy-friendly: - Scanning starts only after you click Scan Page. - Downloads start only after you click Download Filtered. - No browsing data is sent to external servers. - No telemetry, analytics, tracking, or remote code. - No broad host permissions are requested. You can filter results by media type and use a minimum file size setting to hide tiny icons, pixels, and noise. Important limitation: This extension does not bypass DRM, login requirements, paywalls, copyright protections, or protected streaming systems. It only works with media URLs that are already accessible to your browser.
