Local Cookie Editor is a browser extension for managing website cookies through a simple and convenient interface. KEY FEATURES • View cookies for websites you choose. • Create, edit, and delete cookies. • Search cookies by name, domain, or path. • Manage cookie attributes, including Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite, and expiration. • Request website access when needed. • Create and restore encrypted local cookie backups. • Configure automatic local backups for selected websites. PRIVACY AND SECURITY Local Cookie Editor processes cookie information locally in your browser. It does not upload cookie contents to a developer-operated cloud service. Cookie values may contain sensitive information, including authentication and session data. Access to websites is requested when needed for cookie management. Local backups are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and stored within the browser profile. The encryption key is also maintained within the same profile. These backups are not password-protected cloud backups and cannot be relied upon to recover data after the entire browser profile is lost. The extension does not sell cookie information or use it for advertising. SUPPORT For questions or privacy requests, contact jessicay960or@gmail.com.
