Connect your accounts to lobstr.io, with your approval for every sync.

lobstr.io Account Sync connects the accounts you use on supported websites to your lobstr.io workspace. The lobstr.io scrapers you run in the cloud then work with your own login session, and you never give lobstr.io your password. How it works 1. In lobstr.io, open Accounts, click Connect account and pick the site. 2. The extension opens its own confirmation window. It names the site, the login cookies it would read and what they are used for. 3. Click Approve. The first time for a site, Chrome asks you to allow access to that one site. 4. The extension reads that site's login cookies and hands them to the lobstr.io page that asked. For LinkedIn, it also reads the session headers of LinkedIn's own requests in a LinkedIn tab it opens for a few seconds. The lobstr.io app then saves the session to your account. What it never does - Nothing is read until you approve a request. One request at a time, and it expires after two minutes. - It reads only the cookies listed for the site you approved. Never your password, never another site. - Only https://app.lobstr.io can talk to it. No other website can. - The extension itself stores nothing: no cookie or header is written to disk or logged. - No ads, no analytics, no remote code. You can remove a site's access at any time in Chrome's extension settings, and delete a connected account in lobstr.io Accounts. Help: https://help.lobstr.io
